Frequently Asked Questions and Quick Guide to Pinoytv4u.blogspot.com

Q: The video/radio/Tv doesn’t play on my computer. What do I do?

A: These are the browser plug-ins you will need for you to play videos (Live TV, Drama, Movie, Anime, etc.), radios and games here at Pinoytv4u: Adobe Flash Player, Microsoft Silverlight, Microsoft Windows Media Player. Gotta catch’em all!

Q: How come the video does not load?

A: Sometimes the video takes time to load. If it does not load, give it a few minutes and click “refresh” on your browser. Patience, my friend, is a virtue.

Q: Live TV Channel does not load?

A: Maybe the channel is offline. Please try again after some time. It will work!

Q: The video is extremely choppy. It stops every 5 seconds!

A: This is due to your connection speed or congestion in the internet. If the video is very choppy, press the pause button and let the video load. You can see how much the video is loaded by looking at the progress bar.

TIP: you can load multiple episodes by opening them each in a new browser window or tab. Let it load and come back to watch them all.

Q: I’m getting this message while watching videos on Megavideo: “You have watched 72 minutes of video today. Please wait (?) minutes or click here to enjoy unlimited use of Megavideo.” Why and what to do?

A: Firstly clear your browsers cookies, next block all cookies coming from megavideo.com: Go to: Tools > Options (in firefox) Then click "Exceptions" and block "megavideo.com" & "www.megavideo.com" (without quotes) These are not guarenteed to work for everyone (it depends on your ISP etc).
Method 1
All you do is start the video playing then pause it and let it buffer all the way to the end. Then press standby on your modem (or unplug it if you don't have a standby button) and watch the movie off/line, then hit play. (Instead of turning off/unplugging your modem, you can also try clicking File > Work Offline in your browser. But remember to change it back when you want to load another video.) The obvious drawback is that you are offline but, you can do this all-day if you want to have a marathon Megavideo session without that annoying video limit.

Method 2
Unplug your modem from its power supply. The mailing address you have leased from your carrier will expire, as it will see that you are no longer online, and you therefore do not need an IP Address. Your IP Address currently being used will return to the pool of IPs available to use to your IP. Clear your cookies. This takes care of the client side monitoring being done on your machine. Wait 60 Seconds, then plug your modem back in. During the reinitialization of your modem, it will query your IP carrier for another IP Address from the pool of available ones, giving you a new IP Address. Reconnect to Megavideo by closing your browser and accessing the material again. Your cookies will be cleared, and Megavideo will have no record of your new IP Address on their server log. Enjoy another hour of uninterrupted content. (Method 2 won't work if you have a static IP)

A: Megavideo has a timer on videos. It does not happen all the time or to everyone. You may purchase the premium membership if you want but we do not advise or condone it.

Q: Megavideo “Connection problem”. Why and what to do??

A: Megavideo “Connection problem” is just a temporary problem occuring due to bandwidth lag on megavideo.com. If you see “connection problem” error when you try to watch a movie, please refresh the page or try again after some time. It will work!

Q: Can I Download Movies in Megavideo?

A: Videos are stored in Temporary Internet Files Folder in IE and Firefox , so you can hack from there by copying the file and renaming the extension to FLV. Load up the video so its 100% buffered. In Internet Explorer click Tools –> Settings (under the “Browsing History”) then “View Files“. Sort the folder by file size. Your video should be the largest file in that folder and named something like “73efd837a90c290b80aa0f55b82455j8″. Copy and Paste the file onto the desktop and rename the file extension to .flv. You can now watch it on your FLV player or in VLC. Pls. Leave your comment for help..

Q: The video fails to load after several attempts!

A: It might be the video is no longer available. Please let us know by posting a comment below the video or send an email to airsupply2009@yahoo.com
